Mount Beulah Terrace is a three-story apartment community specifically designed for older adults who are at least 62 years of age. There are 39 one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom manager's unit. Two of the units are handicap accessible designed to benefit the mobility impaired and one unit is provided for those who are hearing and/or visually impaired.
The community is ideally located in close proximity to restaurants, retail business, churches, medical and dental offices, and public transportation. Mount Beulah Terrace features a community room with a party kitchen to be used by the residents for a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities. There is a computer room for the residents to use along with a crafts room that can accommodate wet and dry craft activities. There is also a laundry room equipped with coin-operated washers and dryers and folding tables enabling the residents to do their laundry on site. The management offices are located on site for ease in communication for the residents.
The typical unit design provides one bedroom, a kitchen with a pass-through counter, refrigerator, range, and vent. The mobility impaired, accessible units have roll-in showers for ease of access for those residents in wheelchairs. They also have appropriate appliances, counter and sinks, and turning radius to meet the special needs of the mobility impaired.

offer full kitchens, grab bars in the tub or shower, and handicap
accessibility.
The property is secure with lobby entry intercom systems,
in-unit emergency call systems, and a resident manager dedicated
to keeping things running smoothly. The community is attractive
and inviting with a comfortable community room with a fireplace
and a full kitchen that may be reserved for meetings or gatherings
with friends and family. A hobby room, library, and outside patio provide common space for
recreation and entertainment.
A Social Services Coordinator is regularly available on-site.
And, as of July, 2008 Lake Woods II will be a Smoke-Free Building
with smoking allowed *only* 25 feet away from the building.

Eligibility requirements: In addition to meeting the minimum
age requirement, applicants must meet the income requirements.
Eligibility is determined by the number of people *and* the number
of bedrooms in an apartment.
For example: One person in a one bedroom must have an annual
income of at least $10,872 and no more than $28,500. Two people
in a one bedroom must have an annual income of at least $10,872
and no more than $32,550.
